Feb 25 – Bauhaus Block-Prints for Kids
Location: Shop Made in VA – King Street, Old Town Alexandria
Time: 11am-1pm
A new class for kids of all ages. In this two hour class, kids will explore the principles of Bauhaus Design, make their own printing blocks and print gorgeous minimalist landscapes with them! All supplies will be provided! SIGN UP HERE

Mar 11 – PrintUp Textile Upcycling Clinic
Location: Trace Zero Waste – Vienna
Time: 12-2pm
Bring your old/plain/stained textiles to the store and watch as they are transformed with a new print while you wait. Prices range from $10 – $20 depending on the size and complexity of the print. Walk ins are welcome, but it really helps if you sign up for a spot beforehand here

Mar 18 – Block Printing 101 class
Location: Gift and Gather, Occoquan VA
Time: 3 -5 pm
Learn how to produce beautiful block prints. From initial design and block carving, through to creating a print on paper to take home. This two hour class is perfect for students aged 12-adult. Click here to register

Mar 25 – 26 – Pop Up Market at Union Station
Location: Union Station – DC
Time: 11am -5 pm Saturday and Sunday
A new spring craft market at the glorious Union Station DC. Beautiful architecture, trains, and great handmade products. Lovely to fit into a day out in the city (the amazing postal museum is right next door and the Kite Festival is on Saturday!)

April 1-2 – Art Blooms Market
Location: The Mosaic District, Merrifield
Time: 11am-6pm Saturday and Sunday
This craft market is a part of the DC Cherry Blossom Festival and is a lovely Spring event. The Mosaic district is also full of lovely, restaurants, bars, shops and a great farmers market on Sundays.
