Teaching preschoolers (3-5 years old) is the most messy and fun experience for a big kid like me.
I can come to your school/organization
I teach them in my home (parents must be present) in small groups of four-six kids and keep all the mess to myself, while the parents take a brain break, or join in.
Here is how it works:
The workshops provide a safe and fun environment in which preschoolers can explore and experiment with new materials. Parents hang out in a relaxed manner and get as involved as they would like to. The kids make the Art, and I deal with the clean up. What a sweet deal!
All workshops include a wind-down story, so that you don’t have to deal with an over-excited child in your car or home afterwards (I’m a parent, I’ve been there).
If you are interested in arranging a workshop for a group of preschoolers, or have any questions, contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Here are some workshops I have done in the past:
Clay cupcakes and felt pizzas. Getting creative in the kitchen without burning little fingers.
jewelry making for little hands.
Recycling everyday objects into instruments, and learning about rhythm and sound patterns.
Story telling and character play through making puppets.
Making creepy crawlies using paint, clay and recyclable household materials.
